I feel so much lighter. I have worked to untangle and let go of complex emotional blocks and have seen improvements overall in my relationships and sense of self. I have even lost 15 lbs recently and feel so much healthier!
Where were you when we began working together?
Before I began working with Kristin I was searching for support with feelings of postpartum PTSD, depression, & anxiety. I lost my first baby to a miscarriage and then quickly became pregnant again but had a very hard time throughout my pregnancy and postpartum after having my son. Immediately postpartum I was working with a therapist who wasn’t a good fit for me so I found Kristin and I’m so so glad that I did. I knew I had a lot of complex grief and trauma to work through related to my recent experiences and Kristin’s expertise has been incredibly helpful on my healing journey.
What is the biggest shift that you’ve experienced as a result of this work up until now?
Not long after beginning my work with Kristin I found out that I was pregnant again & it was a big surprise for my husband and I. We were really happy but it also brought up a lot of my fear surrounding my previous experiences so Kristin helped me a lot to work through those complicated emotions and continue to find outlets for my grief. I ended up losing this baby to a miscarriage as well and moved through another wave of incredible grief, that I’m still sorting through. I truly believe that having this work during such an immense experience was what has helped me to move into my healing journey much more effectively. Kristin has an incredible gift of holding space for others’ complicated emotions and she has really seen me through an experience that will forever shape me moving forward.
How has this work impacted you moving forward?
As I continue on my healing journey and seek to be fully present as much as possible in my life as it is today I feel so much lighter. I have worked to untangle and let go of some complex emotional blocks and have seen improvements overall in my relationships and sense of self. I have even lost 15 lbs recently and feel much healthier, as I am now more mindful of the lifestyle choices I’m making and prioritize my well-being by incorporating regular exercise. This didn’t feel accessible to me in the mental state I was in before working with Kristin but now I feel like I have a much more solid sense of self and am living in a way that is aligned with my goals.
